Race Day Activities: Sunday, June 4th, 2006
The Races:
Team SLO Nexus and SLORoots Productions are proud to present to 1st Annual San Luis Obispo Criterium Festival. To be held on Sunday June 4, 2006 from 7:30am to 4:30pm, the race expects to draw over 350 riders from across Southern and Northern California. This race features Juniors racing categories for which we are currently securing inclusion on the Lance Armstrong Junior Olympic Road Race Series . It will also participate in the Women's 4 Mentor Rider Program where seasoned women riders are able to mentor the beginning women and women's 3/4 race.

The Family Fun Area:
Just off of the race circuit, is Spider Bikes' Pedal-Power Fun Course . Kids and their parents can enjoy testing a unique set of cycle machines on a mini circuit. Kids can test their skills on quadricycles, learning how to maneuver these novel machines.
Kids can also come say hi to Nick Brown, Balloon Twister Extraordinaire! Watch as he twists and turns a simple balloon into the most imaginative of shapes and characters.
